The Exchange apartment is located in the rear building behind the Valli Wine Bar. With a private side entry, the apartment has a separate bedroom, a full kitchen and ensuite. Original beech flooring and preserved vintage wall paper is a beautiful juxtaposition with luxurious bedding and linens. A unique mix of antique, vintage and new create a fun, colourful and interesting place to stay. Named for the old exchange that was housed in the now-bedroom, it was a hub for information going in and out of the Valley.

Located on the high street, anything you need is within a 2 minute walk - cafes, pubs, shops and 4 square. If you have leisure time, check out one of the many walks leaving from Kurow township, tour the museum, take a game of golf or frisbee golf and of course check out the local wine scene.

The Valli Wine Bar offers local Waitaki wine tastings to familiarize yourself with the region and its unique terroir and growing conditions and find out why Waitaki is New Zealand’s rising star! The Wine Bar also offers glasses of wine and plates to match. Off-license available if you feel like having a night in.
